From our accommodation in our Airbnb Bright 1BR apartment. We walked 10 mins to Rustaveli Metro station. Entering the metro station, we were able to load our Metromoney card with 1 GEL of credit (2 x 50 Tetri each). This was sufficient for our metro trip onLine 1 (red) the 5 stops to Samgori Metro station. The journey took about 20 mins.
A 3 min walk from Samgori Metro station got us to the Samgori Marshrutka Terminal. This was the departure point for our marshrutka to Sighnaghi. The cost for the 2-hour journey was 7 GEL each. We ended up having to wait in the marshrutka for nearly an hour before it was full enough to leave.
The journey was pleasant enough. Dropping off and picking up people along the route.
Arrival in Sighnaghi was at Sighnaghi Bus Station. It was going to be a 10 min uphill walk to our accommodation, Hotel Vigor, booked through Booking.com. Fortunately for us, the marshrutka driver offered to drop us off at the hotel.
