India is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area and the second most populated country in the world. It’s bounded by the Indian Ocean to the south, the Arabian Sea to the southwest, and the Bay of Bengal to the southeast.

India has land borders with Pakistan to the west, China, Nepal and Bhutan to the north and Bangladesh and Myanmar to the east.

We travelled through India for 76 days, covering a total of 4861 miles. Our main forms of transport were public bus, train and shared jeep. Roads are in extremely poor condition throughout the whole country. Expect a bumpy ride.
