We travelled through Nepal for 15 days, covering a total of 799 miles. Our main forms of transport were the bus and shared jeeps. Roads are in poor condition, so journeys are at best bumpy.
There is a train service in Nepal, a 28 km line from Jaynagar, India to Janakpur, Nepal, used for passenger transport. We didn’t use it.
