Romania is a southeastern European country known for the forested region of Transylvania, ringed by the Carpathian Mountains. It has borders with Bulgaria to the south, Ukraine to the north, Hungary to the west, Serbia to the southwest, and Moldova to the east along with a stretch of coastline on the Black sea.

We travelled through Romania for 6 days, covering a total of 540 miles. Our main form of transport was by train. The roads are in good condition throughout the country.
