Staying safe
Heard the city siren the other morning and after a quick Google search, we found that every month a city siren test is carried out to warn of possible earthquake, flood, and fire. Luckily our high rise tower block has appropriate safety apparatus.
Bus 99
Wanted to head up to the hilltop for the city panoramic view, two ways to get there, cable car or bus. Having already done a cable car on this trip and being on a budget we went for the bus option. Google told us bus 99, researched where to get it and off we went….
Power nap
We have heard of the office’s allowing staff to have a power nap at work but, it is a little extreme whilst you are having a wee.
Polar bear
We tried to make a snowman with what was left of last night’s snow but, we think it looks more like a polar bear. Blue Peter would be proud except we didn’t use any sticky back plastic….
Uzbekistan by numbers

Uno
Taught the train staff how to play UNO after an hour we’d had enough and they carried on. A six hour journey, two Uzbek tiles, one litre of vodka, chicken, onion and bread dinner plus UNO. Great fun.
